British pop duo piri & tommy premiered a new song “on & on” on BBC Radio 1's Future Sounds with Jack Saunders.
The song follows up “beachin” and “words”.
It was written by Sophie McBurnie, and Thomas Villiers, who also produced the track.
piri told Jack Saunders about the song, “Basically, we went to our first Parklife last September, so we wrote it just after that so in September, and it was just about like UK festival by everyone gets so tired and so dirty and whatever. But you still just have this like overwhelming urge to dance and like get fizzy lives and just go crazy.”
Aldo the duo shared on social media, “wrote this after going to our first ever parklife in september 2021, something about uk festival vibes is just unbeatable, even when exhausted there’s just this crazy drive to keep dancing and keep going and that’s what we tried to capture with this track.”- Photo by Sam Mcmahon
