American pop punk band All Time Low, consisting of Alex Gaskarth (vocals/guitar), Jack Barakat (guitar), Rian Dawson (drums) and Zack Merrick (bass), released a cover of Canadian singer-songwriter The Weeknd's “Blinding Lights” on June 6, 2022.
The song follows up the collaborative songs “PMA” featuring Pale Waves and “Ghost Story” with Cheat Codes. Produced by Dan Swank, Phil Gornell and Zakk Cervini.
The original of the song was released by The Weeknd from his fourth studio album “After Hours” in 2019.
The track was written and produced by the Weeknd, Max Martin and Oscar Holter, with Canadian musicians Belly and DaHeala.
The song reached No. 1 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Singles chart. It has also topped the record charts in 36 other countries.
It is his most successful single worldwide to date.
