Carrie Underwood Performs “Crazy Angels” & “Velvet Heartbreak” on Good Morning America
- Earlier this month, American country music singer-songwriter Carrie Underwood released her ninth studio album “Denim & Rhinestones”.
She performed “Crazy Angels” and “Velvet Heartbreak” on Good Morning America in support of the album.
“Crazy Angels” was released back in April as the third single from the album.
She first performed the song at Stagecoach Festival on April 30. The track features a classic guitar riff with a bit of a retro vibe.
“Velvet Heartbreak” is the second track of the album.
Both songs were written by Carrie Underwood, Hillary Lindsey and David Garcia. Produced by David Garcia and Carrie Underwood.
“We cover a lot of ground on this album,” Carrie Underwood said of the album. “We have a lot of songs that have a bit of a 'throwback' feel, but they sound super fresh. I grew up listening to so many different kinds of music and that is extremely evident in this body of work.”
She embarks on The Denim & Rhinestones Tour with special guest Jimmie Allen. The tour is scheduled to begin on October 15, 2022, in Greenville, South Carolina and finish on March 17, 2023, in Seattle, Washington.
