London-based singer-songwriter AJ Wander released a new song “Blue Lights” on May 20, 2022.
The song is taken from his upcoming debut EP, following “When You Say I Love You”, “Take It All”, “Time Out”, “Eye To Eye” and “Way We Walk”.
He worked with Brad Mair on the track.
AJ Wander said of the song, “I wrote ‘Blue Lights’ after seeing someone overdose opposite my old flat.The song is me hoping that he still has a spark of hope left, that it was just a call for help.”
The debut EP is expected to be released later this year. He said, “Definitely plots out the course of a breakup and its aftermath. It’s me reasoning with myself, working out why it happened, justifying it, and trying to understand it. Self-therapy through music - a way of me dealing with my emotions.”
He continued, “The songs I write mean the world to me. There would be nothing more amazing than to see them mean something to others too.”- source : Apple Music
