Jesse Jo Stark Announces Debut Album “DOOMED”, Shares New Song “so bad” featuring Jesse Rutherford
- Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Jesse Jo Stark announced her long-awaited debut album “DOOMED” would be released on September 21, 2022.
From the album, she unveiled the first single called “so bad” along with a music video.
She teamed up with American singer-songwriter Jesse Rutherford on the track.
It was written by Jesse Jo Stark, Jesse Rutherford, Thomas Hunter and Michael Harris. Produced by Jesse Jo Stark, Jesse and Michael Harris.
“Insanity is doing the same thing over and over, expecting different results,” Jesse Jo Stark said of the song. “'so bad' is about the vicious cycle of going after something you want, even though you know it's bad for you.”
The accompanying video was directed by Ramez Silyan and features cameos from various people in her life including her father Richard Stark, her brother Kristian J. Stark, Steve Jones (Sex Pistols), Luka Sabbat, and Rutherford.
The debut album comprises 11-track. she said, “The album touches on the duality of life like love and pain, lightness and darkness, glamour and horror. I don't think we are all just one thing, and so for this, I offer all of me.”
