The Maine Releases New Song “Loved You A Little” featuring Taking Back Sunday & Charlotte Sands
American alt-rock band The Maine teamed up with American rock band Taking Back Sunday and American singer-songwriter Charlotte Sands to release a new song “Loved You A Little”.
This marks the first time The Maine, Taking Back Sunday and Charlotte Sands have worked together.
The song is the first single since The Maine's eighth studio album “XOXO: From Love and Anxiety in Real Time”, which was released in July 2021.
It was written by John O'Callaghan, Jared Monaco, Kennedy Brock, Pat Kirch and Garrett Nickelsen. Produced by John O'Callaghan and The Maine.
The accompanying music video was directed by Guadalupe Bustos.
The Maine frontman John O'Callaghan said, “This song is for anyone feeling like they wasted their time on a feeling. In a way It helped to remind myself of who I wanted to be when I'd have been hard pressed to feel any further away from that.”
Charlotte Sands added, “It was such an honor to be a part of “Loved You A Little” and I am still pinching myself at the idea that I'm singing on a song with two of my favorite singers and bands of all time and they've both been and continue to be huge inspirations for me as a writer, performer, and artist.
