Gracie Abrams Shares New Song “21”
- Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams has shared a new song “21”. The track is the follow-up to “Stay”, which was released last November.
She co-wrote the song with Sarah Aarons and Joel Little. “Writing ‘21’ felt like a therapy session,” Gracie Abrams said of the song. “It was everything I needed to say but couldn’t really, before being in that room. Working with Joel and Sarah, all I really wanted to do was sit back and watch them as I think they’re two actual geniuses, but after ten minutes of talking it became apparent to me that they’re such geniuses because of how comfortable and open they make you feel. Once we started writing it just felt like every sentence we spoke made its way into the song.”
Before the debut, she has shared her own songs on SoundCloud. Also, she is known as a daughter of American film maker J.J. Abrams who directed “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” and “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker”.
