Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Ayia Gold Releases Debut Song “Blue Skies”
London-based R&B singer-songwriter Ayia Gold has released her debut song “Blue Skies” via Two Way Street and Awal.
She co-wrote the song with Max Herman, who also produced it. The beautiful ballad is reminiscent of Mariah Carey.
Ayia Gold said of the song, “Blue Skies is an intimate song about the beauty & vulnerability of falling in love. Wearing your heart on your sleeve and the desire for that same openness back”.
Ayia Gold was born and raised in London, the Moroccan-Italian artist began singing at an early age. Using poetry and songwriting as an outlet, she went on to join the renowned BRIT School, where she honed her craft as a songwriter and performer.
Her music is influenced by “timeless artists” the likes of Whitney Houston, Aaliyah and Alicia Keys. But she created her own soulful and R&B sound as a new generation music.- source : The Noise Gate
