Earlier this month, American singer-songwriter Chloé Caroline unveiled a new song “Messy”, following 2018 single "Love, Of Course" (Songs From and Inspired by the Motion Picture).
The song will appear on her upcoming debut album "Gypsy Daughter", which is expected to be released later this year. It was written by Chloé Caroline, Jasmine Ash and Jamie Houston.
On June 14th, she dropped the music video for the song, directed by Mary Omel. The video was filmed in her hometown of Manhattan Beach.
The clip follows her days working at a car wash. It’s meant to portray daily grind that we all face with a sassy positive attitude and to make the best of what life has to offer.
Chloé Caroline said of the song, "All of our lives are messy in their own ways--the ups and downs of life are what mold our stories. But it's easy in a world with so much noise (cough: social media) to get bogged down with comparison and expectations.
