WONDR Premieres New Song “All For You”
- Los Angeles-based hip-hop singer-songwriter WONDR has shared a new song “All For You”.
The song was premiered exclusively on GoodMusicAllDay.
He debuted with his first song “White Aston” in 2018, which amassed over 500k streams on Spotify.
The new song is his fourth single of the 2018, following the previously released song “L.A. L.A.” with NickyMo.
Recently, he moved to Los Angeles from Nashville.
WONDR said of the song, “This song is special to me because it was created in the middle of a life-changing process. I was staying in LA for a month trying to decide whether or not I wanted to take the leap of faith and move here to continue pursuing music. In that month I collaborated with a friend and for the first time in my life created a track outside of my bedroom. The process was smooth. We got in the studio and made the beat, wrote the hook, then I went back home and finished the verses and glossed over the hook. I came back with a rough demo and we knocked the re-recording out in a night session over a case of beer and some Twizzlers. Writing this song was emotional in a sense that I’d be taking a huge risk by not only moving across the country but furthering a long distance relationship of 3 years to promise a better future that isn’t guaranteed. That sense of if I mess this up, I’m a failure and I’ve let you down, that was the power that drove this song. Not only does this speak towards my relationship with my girlfriend, but with my family as well. They put so much time and energy into me over the years and I’ve wanted nothing more than to make them happy and pay them back with all that I have.”
- He continued, “This track felt to me like a way of giving back. A way of saying thank you to the people who are most supportive of me. When it comes to the overall vibe/sound of the track, I wanted it to feel bright and upbeat. Something that when people listened, they felt good. It’s a story a lot of people have and deal with. People who have a dream that involves risks and loved ones who have to bear the burden of time before it does come true. It’s for the risk takers and the dreamers. I created the track with a goal to make a hit that would prove the importance of moving to LA and what it would do for my career and for those who surround me.”
