  • Robyn Performs “Missing U” and “With Every Heartbeat” on Later... with Jools Holland on BBC Two

  • Swedish singer-songwriter Robyn appeared on Later... with Jools Holland on BBC Two, where she performed “Missing U” and “With Every Heartbeat”.

In September, Robyn released the eighth studio album "Honey" for the first time in eight years, and she is back.
“Missing U” is the lead single off of "Honey", written by Robyn, Joseph Mount and Klas Åhlund. The song recieved its first play during BBC Radio 1 Annie Mac's Hottest Record in the World.

Robyn said of the song, "“Missing U” is really about the psychedelic, trippy thing that happens when people are not there anymore, and how clear they become all of a sudden, and how you deal with the fact that there’s this big space in your life. In the beginning, there’s no segue between your life and that place where that person used to be. That’s what healing is about: finding ways through that space where that person was. After a while, it starts becoming about connection to other people instead, or to yourself."

“With Every Heartbeat” was released in 2007 from her self-titled fourth studio album.
The original version featured Swedish record producer Kleerup, who included it his self-titled debut studio album.
It was written by Robin CarlssonAndreas Kleerup. The song reached No. 1 on the UK Singles chart.
