  • Reason|Define Premieres New Song “Pointing Fingers”

  • Charlotte-based all-female rock/metal band Reason|Define has unveiled a new song “Pointing Fingers” from their upcoming sophomore album “In Memory…”, which is expected to be released in early 2019.

The song follows up "Should I Stay or Should I Go", which was released back in March.
The track is drive beat sound with heavy guitar riff and powerful melodic vocals.

Bassist and backing vocalist Caitlin Rutkowski said of the song:
“‘Pointing Fingers’ is the debut single from our upcoming sophomore album, ‘In Memory…’ As a band, we believe that it is important to confront issues that we are passionate about. One of those issues is the sexual harassment of women in different ways throughout today’s society. Writing this song was an outlet to try to understand the harassment we have personally experienced as women. ‘Pointing Fingers’ is our way of standing in front of our demons, looking them in the eyes, and saying, 'enough is enough!'”
  • Reason|Define is composed of Paolina Massaro (Vocals), Caitlin Rutkowski (Bass and Vocals), Sav Ruff (Guitar and Vocals), Syd McVicker (Drums) and Shelby McVicker (Guitar).
The band debuted with the first single "Kingdom" and won Best Rock Band of the Year at at the Carolina Music Awards in 2016.
The debut album "Far From Strangers" was released in March 2017.
Since then, tha band has played shows in Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Tennessee, Iowa, Kentucky, and Indiana.
