American country singer-songwriter Carrie Underwood dropped a new music video for “The Champion”, directed by Norry Niven.
The song was released in January, which was used for the Super Bowl LII broadcast on NBC and theme music during the XXIII Winter Olympic Games. Featuring American rapper and actor Ludacris.
The video features historic footage of Martin Luther King, Jr. and Muhammad Ali, as well as those modern champions including soldiers, athletes, first responders and students. Also you can see her husband and NHL star, Mike Fisher and shark attack survivor and surfer Bethany Hamilton on the video.
The song is the first release after her accident. Last November, she was injured at outside her Nashville home, resulting in nearly forty stitches in her face, as well as wrist surgery.
This week, Carrie Underwood received two nominations for the 2018 ACM Awards, including Female Vocalist of the Year and Vocal Event of the Year for her song "The Fighter" with Keith Urban.-
