London-based singer-songwriter Dua Lipa appeared on the Live Lounge for BBC Radio 1, where she performed her latest song "IDGAF" and her smash "New Rules", as well as coverd Arctic Monkeys' "Do I Wanna Know?".
This time, she teamed up with her friends/fellow pop stars Charli XCX, Zara Larsson, MØ and Alma for “IDGAF”. It's gorgeous. They recorded it in Los Angeles.
“IDGAF” is included on her eponymous debut studio album and written by Dua Lipa, MNEK, Larzz Principato, Skyler Stonestreet and Whiskey Water. MNEK performed as additional backing vocals.
The music video for it was directed by Henry Scholfield and released on January 12. It is cracking the top 10 in the UK, Australia and New Zealand.
"New Rules" was released last July and reached number one in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Belgium (Flanders), Ireland, Israel and Romania, while peaking within the top ten in Australia, Canada, Finland, Germany, Italy, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden and several other countries.
Also the song was reached No.6 on the US Billboard Hot 100, becoming her first top 10 in the US.
"Do I Wanna Know?" is recorded by English indie rock band Arctic Monkeys. It was released in 2013 from their fifth studio album "AM". The song was nominated for a Grammy Award in the Best Rock Performance category in 2014.
