- Marian Hill Premieres New Song “Subtle Thing”
- Philadelphia-based songwriting duo Marian Hill has delivered a new song “Subtle Thing” via streaming music services.
The song was written by Jeremy Lloyd and Samantha Gongol. It is the first single in two years since "Back to Me", featuring Lauren Jauregui, and a feature from Detroit rapper Big Sean.
The track blends blues, jazz and delicate vocals with rhythmic synth.
Marian Hill will perform at Coachella Music and Arts Festival on April 13th. The festival features Beyoncé, HAIM, Chic and Slow Magic, among others.
After the festival, the duo embarks the tour at Crystal Ballroom in Portland on April 17. The tour takes place in North America and the UK through to May 16, 2018.

- Marian Hill was formed in 2013, consisting of Jeremy Lloyd and Samantha Gongol. Their name comes from two characters, Marian Paroo and Harold Hill, from the musical The Music Man.
The duo released two EPs "Play" and "Sway", respectively in 2013 and 2014. The group released a debut album "Act One" in 2016.
The duo is better known for their single "Down", which used by "iPhone 7 + AirPods" commercial during the Atlanta Falcons and Seattle Seahawks playoff game.
