English indie-folk rock duo Percival Elliott has delivered a new song "Forever" via SoundCloud. The song was premiered exclusively on HuffPost on December 12.
The track is was released as the lead single from their upcoming debut album "Save Your Soul", which is expected to be released in early 2018.
Percival Elliott was formed by Olly Hite and Samuel Carter-Brazier in 2014. According to their profile about the band name, Percival Elliott is from Olly Hite's great grandfather, who created one of the first ice-cream emporiums in Brighton. The idea of resurrecting the magic of Percival Elliott was conceived after they discovered a box of trinkets at the back of an attic.
The duo debuted with their self-titled EP in 2015.
Their sound reminds us of early The Beatles, sometimes Coldplay, sometimes Jeff Buckley and sometimes Nick Drake.- The duo will perform live at Icebreaker Festival 2018 in Albert Road, Southsea, UK on February 2, 2018. In addition to Percival Elliott, the festival features Richard Morris, Is Bliss, The Collision, Bel Esprit, The Paul Dillon Band, Archie Langley, Foxer, Eyes to the Skies, The Machete, Temples of Youth, Coax, Mint Gun Club, Fainites, Horseflies, Roy Peplow, Minque, Arcade Hearts, Sleepwalker, Morass of Molasses and Noyo Mathis.
