Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ The xx Premieres New Music Video for “Say Something Loving”
London-based electro-pop trio The xx dropped a new music video for "Say Something Loving" directed by Alasdair McLellan.
The song was released as the second single from their third studio album "I See You" in January 2017. The band performed the song live for the first time during The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in January.
They posted about the video on their Facebook page;
“Here's our new video for 'Say Something Loving', shot in London and directed by our friend Alasdair McLellan. We wanted to celebrate our hometown and revisit some of the places that remind us of our friendship, when we were growing up.“
Also, singer and guitarist Romy Madley Croft noted about the new album;
"On this album, we all thought, 'Let's stop worrying. Let's just make music. here's this liberating feeling of playing what sounds good, what we like."
Currently, the band has been running their tour in Europe, South America and North America.
