British singer-songwriter Jake Bugg has shared a new song “Downtown” from his upcoming fifth studio album “Saturday Night, Sunday Morning”.
The song is the third single off of the album, following “All I Need” and “Lost”. It was written by Jeff Cohen and Jamie Hartman, who also produced the track.
“Usually, the initial spark of an idea comes from me,” Jake Bugg said. “And when it doesn't, it sometimes loses my attention. Because there were a lot of moving parts and chords, it was almost like a puzzle. I'd never approached a song like that before.”
The new album comprises of 11-track and is set to be released on August 20, 2021.
