Kat Von D Announces Her Debut Album “Love Made Me Do It”, Unveils New Song “Exorcism”
American tattoo artist Kat Von D announced her upcoming debut album “Love Made Me Do It” would be released on August 27, 2021.
The album comprises of 12-track, where Dave Grohl, Linda Perry, Bauhaus' Peter Murphy, Nine Inch Nails' Danny Lohner, Charo, Dave Sitek of TV On The Radio and Ladyhawke joined in. She wrote the album a decade ago.
From the album, she released the first single entitled “Exorcism” with accompanying music video on May 14, 2021.
The track was written by Kat Von D and Nick Long. The video was filmed last September, co-directed by Aaron Krummel and Kat Von D.
“I wrote 'Exorcism' after having had binged on every exorcist movie that ever existed," Von D said of the song in a press release. "I loved the idea of tying the act of being possessed by something outside your control to what love can sometimes feel like; losing yourself in someone else, and sometimes it leaving you black and blue.”- source : Spotify
