American EDM trio Major Lazer released their long-awaited fourth studio album “Music Is The Weapon” on October 23rd.
It is their first album in five years and is also the first album after Jillionaire left the group and was replaced by Ape Drums.
Initially, the album title was “Music Is the Weapon”, but Diplo revealed that the album would be changed to “Lazerism” in 2019.
However, the trio tweeted that the album would once again be the original title, “Music Is the Weapon” in September 2020.
The album contains 12-track, featuring guest appearances from Alessia Cara, Busy Signal, Joeboy, French Montana, Beam, Shenseea, Mr Eazi, Nicki Minaj, K4mo, Khalid, Marcus Mumford, Skip Marley, Anitta, MC Lan, Paloma Mami, Nucleya, Rashmeet Kaur, J Balvin and El Alfa.
Also, the album their last album. Diplo said he thought the album would be the last Major Lazer album in an interview with Complex in September 2018.- source : SoundCloud
