Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Y2K & JoJo Premiere New Song “Damage Is Done”
American record producer Ari David Starace, aka Y2K teamed up with American singer-songwriter JoJo to release a new song “Damage Is Done” on July 31st.
This marks the first time Y2K and JoJo have worked together. The accompanying music video was directed by Morgan Freed.
Y2K said, “Pop music is extremely good and I have always wanted to work in the genre. There's something so great to me about doing a lot with so few sounds. I am stoked to have an opportunity to put out a song in that world, especially with an artist as iconic as JoJo. It's so different than what I've released previously and is very refreshing for me!”
JoJo added, “Even though I've dabbled in different genres before, and collaborated with such a range of talented artists, this was a first for me being the featured vocalist on a dance track. Y2K is mad talented, and it was really fun to dive into something that's always been more of a guilty pleasure. We had a blast, and I think we made a pretty great record.”- source : The 360 Magazine
