Billie Eilish Performs “What Was I Made For?” at Lollapalooza Chicago 2023
American singer-songwriter Billie Eilish has dropped a live video for “What Was I Made For?”.
She performed and filmed the song at Lollapalooza Chicago 2023 on August 3, 2023.
The song is featured on the motion picture “Barbie” soundtrack, which was released on July 21, 2023.
The track was written by Billie Eilish and her brother FINNEAS. Produced by Andrew Wyatt, FINNEAS, and Mark Ronson.
Billie Eilish told Zane Lowe of Apple Music about the song, “I find it really hard to write about my exact feelings in my life. And so, 'What Was I Made For?' would never have ever been written, even though every single lyric is exactly how I feel. It's about my life.”
Her Lollapalooza's live was partially solar-powered by intelligent, zero-emission battery systems.
The systems and performance are part of the Music Decarbonization Project co-founded by Billie Eilish in partnership with the environmental non-profit REVERB.- According to a press release, the zero-emissions battery systems that will power her set will be supplied and managed by Overdrive Energy Solutions and will be charged via a temporary onsite “solar farm”.
The use of these battery systems will serve as a powerful demonstration of clean energy technologies that can drastically reduce live music's greenhouse gas pollution and accelerate the shift away from fossil fuels. - source : YouTube
