American hip-hop trio Black Eyed Peas, consisting of will.i.am, apl.de.ap and Taboo, teamed up with Brazilian singer-songwriter Anitta and Dominican rapper El Alfa to release a new song “SIMPLY THE BEST”.
This marks Black Eyed Peas and Anitta collaborated for the second time, following the 2019 “Explosion”.
The song is taken from their upcoming ninth studio album “ELEVATION”, which is set to be releases on November 11, 2022.
It was written by El Alfa, apl.de.ap, DJ Ammo, will.i.am and Taboo. Produced by DJ Ammo and will.i.am.
will.i.am said, “In order to enjoy life now with all its hurdles and obstacles, one must understand that life and the gift of living is SIMPLY THE BEST.”
Apl said, “What the last few years have taught me, is not to compare myself to what others do, but just to be the best version of myself and to connect with other people who think the same way.”
Taboo said, “I am grateful to be in the world and to have memories with to create people I love. Every moment becomes an impulse that inspires and nurtures us and pushes us to be SIMPLY THE BEST version of ourselves.”
Anitta said, “This is a collaboration I'm very proud of. A deep, dancing and energetic rhythm. My second collaboration with the Black Eyed Peas! I will always be there! It was a lot of fun again!”- The new album is the trio's first project in two years since the 2020 album “Translation”.
The album comprises 16-track, featuring guest appearances from Anuel AA, Bella Poarch, Daddy Yankee, J.Rey SOUL, Nicky Jam, Nicole Scherzinger, Ozuna, Anitta, El Alfa, Shakira and David Guetta. - source : Apple Music
