Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ A1 x J1 Releases New Song “Deal Or No Deal” featuring Mabel
British hip hop duo A1 x J1, consisting of Phineas Waweru and Joshua Somerkun, teamed up with English-Swedish singer-songwriter Mabel to release a new song “Deal Or No Deal” along with a music video on June 23, 2022.
This marks the first collaboration between A1 x J1 and Mabel.
The song follows up “Night Away (Dance)” with Tion Wayne, which was released back in March.
Also, the song will appear on Mabel's sophomore album “About Last Night...” Apple Music edition, which is set to be released on July 15, 2022.
The track was written by Marlon Roudette, Errol Bellot, Mabel McVey, Jordan D Reid and Steven Marsden. Produced by Crumz, K1NG and Mark Ralph.
Phineas Waweru said, “Working with Mabel has been amazing – she's been one of our dream collaborators since we started so it's sick actually getting to work with her.”
Joshua Somerkun continued, “Mabel is massive so it's mad we got to work with her on this record. Her voice is sick.”
