Toronto-based alt-pop duo Chrome Daphne, consisting of Chris da Silva and Jay Cherr, released a new song “Enough” on May 26, 2022.
The song is their second single, following “There” released back in March.
It was written and produced by Chris da Silva and Jay Cherr.
The track features Ernesto Barahona on trombone, August Jones on trumpet and Daniel-Leigh McLean on percussion.
Jay Cherr said of the song, Our moody, new song, 'Enough,' was inspired by attachment issues. It approaches the question of commitment in a relationship with a wishful, dreamy apprehension — wondering what something could be.”
He continued, “This tune marks a bit of a stylistic departure from our other material. It's written in 6/4 which is not something you often hear in dance music, and bringing in horn players was definitely an experiment for us.”- source : Apple Music
