Erika de Casier Releases New Song “Busy”
Danish singer-songwriter Erika de Casier released the fourth single entitled “Busy” from her upcoming sophomore album “Sensational”, following “No Butterflies, No Nothing”, “Drama” and “Polite”.
The track was written by Erika de Casier and co-produced by Natal Zaks.
The new album is out next week, May 21st via 4AD. The album expands the universe of her debut album, it's like a “bigger sister,” Erika de Casier says. All of the album was co-produced by Erika de Casier and Natal Zaks.
The album is a theme that cropped up during the ‘Independent Woman’ era –self-sufficiency and dismantling the stereotype of single women looking for love.
The debut album dealt more with the infatuation stages of love, the new album has more of an attitude. It tackles relationship dramas and the toxicity of dating, although there’s still a softness to the whole thing. A series of words stuck with her while making the album: ‘sensual’, ‘sexy’ and ‘sensational’.
She embarks on European and UK tour in support of the album for late 2021. The tour kicks off at We Out Here Festival in Huntingdon, England on August 19th and will conclude at MeetFactory in Prague, CZ on November 23, 2021.- source : Spotify
