The Dumes Releases Debut Song “Neverlost”
Los Angeles-based alt-rock band The Dumes released their debut song “Neverlost” on September 16th.
The band recorded the song at the legendary Sunset Sound Studios in Hollywood, produced by Grammy-winning producer Joe Chiccarelli.
The track will appear on their upcoming debut EP “Everything Is Horrible”.
The band said, “Perhaps more than any of our recent material, this track feels like it's bottled the anxious energy in the air throughout the writing and recording process. That kind of thing can only be contained for so long!”
After the releases of the single, the band announced that they will bring their full live show experience online for an exclusive ticketed stream on the Headliner platform on October 1st.
The band said, “Everything is horrible, and we haven't even been able to escape by playing a show! We're ready to see the biggest circle pit your living room has ever seen!”
Learn more infomation, click here.- The Dumes first appeared to front-woman Elodie Tomlinson as a mirage on the horizon during a shroom-fueled bike ride up the California coastline. One by one, she conjured the colors to paint that mirage into focus that would cut through the noise; a feeling she understood all too well as one of seven siblings growing up. This intense focus along with Elodie’s full bodied and urgent voice drew in like-minded musicians to fill out the picture. Chris Dunn’s authoritative drumming drives in lockstep with Liam McCormack’s seeking, yet bold presence on bass. Peter Recine and Kyle Biane’s guitar lines intertwine, swinging from raucous to melodic, with a great sense of unity throughout each song. The Dumes have just begun crafting their own story, in their own voice, to striking effect.
