Demi Lovato Premieres New Documentary “Demi Lovato: Dancing With The Devil”
- American singer-songwriter Demi Lovato premiered her documentary “Demi Lovato: Dancing With The Devil” via YouTube.
The film debuted as the opening night headliner at the South by Southwest Film Festival on March 16, 2021 before being released on YouTube.
The film consist of 4 parts, this time, she unveiled episode 1 "Losing Control" and Episode 2 "5 Minutes from Death".
Episode 3 "Reclaiming Power" will be premiered on March 30th and Episode 4 is out April 6, 2021.
The film was directed by Michael D. Ratner. It features cover a range of topics including her near-fatal overdose in 2018.
Before the film, she filmed another documentary in 2018, including her tour footage. But the project was scrapped after she was hospitalized due to overdose.
The new documentary was used some of the footage from previous project.
Demi Lovato shared on social media, “Ratty, idk where the fuck to begin but thank you doesn't cut it. Not only has your friendship meant a lot to me over the years but now embarking on the journey together solidified the bond we had that began to grow before. I'll never be able to thank you enough for helping me share my story in the most honest, transparent, tasteful way possible. Also, her upcoming seventh studio album “Dancing with the Devil... the Art of Starting Over” is set to be released on April 2, 2021 via Island Records.
