Lizzy McAlpine Premieres New Song “hate to be lame” featuring FINNEAS on BBC Radio 1
American singer-songwriter Lizzy McAlpine premiered a new song “hate to be lame” on BBC Radio 1's Future Artists with Jack Saunders.
The song will appear on her upcoming sophomore album “five seconds flat”, which is out this Friday (April 8).
This time, she teamed up with American singer-songwriter FINNEAS on the track.
The song was written by Lizzy McAlpine and FINNEAS. Produced by Philip Etherington and Ehren Ebbage.
Back in January, she asked FINNEAS if he would want to be on this song with her. “hi!! i'm working on my second album right now and i have this song that just think you would sound so good on....i wanted to reach out even though it's a long shot and see if you'd be interested in hearing the song, if you're too busy or you're not doing features rn i totally get it i just thought i'd shoot my shot!!!” He replied “YES DUDE”.
Lizzy McAlpine shared on social media, “for real i just DMed finneas one time and was like do u wanna be on my song and he said yes and now it's out and i'm so honored to have him on this track it's insANE. i've been a fan for so long thank u FINNEAS for supporting me and this song and for being a part of this :')”- The new album comprises 14-track, featuring guest appearances from Jacob Collier, Ben Kessler, FINNEAS and Laura Elliott.
