American singer-songwriter Julia Michaels appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live, where she performed her latest song “Jump” alongside American rapper Trippie Redd.
The song was released earlier this month, writtenby Julia Michaels, Nick Monson, Justin Tranter and Trippie Redd.
She said of the song in an interview for Metro Magazine;
"It’s about falling in love for the first time after a break-up. When you go through something like that, your body is like, “Resist, resist, it’s not real, it’s not happening!
It’s about wanting to sort of dive into something really quickly but you have so many hesitations because you’ve been hurt before."
She will support for Maroon 5's "Red Pill Blues Tour" North America leg from May 30th through to October 15th.
