Canadian singer-songwriter Cory Dee's new project The Hard Luck released his debut song “Tonight” on April 26, 2024.
The song is the first release his under new label Royalty Records.
Cory Dee returned to his musical roots and has crafted music that is a harmonious marriage of introspective lyrics and captivating melodies.
It was written by Cory Dee, and Shannon McArthur who also produced the track.
Cory Dee is better known as a member of Canadian alt-rock band Owls By Nature.
This time, he signed to Royalty Records as a solo artist, The Hard Luck.
Cory Dee said, “I'm very excited to be working with a label with such a rich history as Royalty. Our shared vision for The Hard Luck is to ensure that it receives the exposure it deserves true to the authenticity of the project.”- Royalty Records CEO Rob Smith said, “Things can come full circle in this business. I remember Cory jamming at our Royalty office with a few other artists 15 or so years ago and here we are, working with him on this new project and excited to see where we can take his unapologetically honest approach crafting music that speaks from his soul”
