Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Paramore Premieres New Music Video for “Rose-Colored Boy”
American rock band Paramore has released a new music video for “Rose-Colored Boy”, directed by Warren Fu. The song is included on their fifth studio album "After Laughter", which was released last May.
The video is inspired from TV news and depicts the band as anchors in an ‘80s TV newsroom. It was written by Hayley Williams, Taylor York and Zac Farro.
About the song, lead singer Hayley Williams said;
"We have that moment on my iPhone, where we listened to it for the first time through the monitors after Taylor and I did the chant and we couldn’t believe it."
Lead guitar Taylor York continued;
"I think that was to me one of the coolest moments of writing a record. We had Zac back in the band after a month of recording at RCA and we didn’t have enough songs. Rose-Colored Boy was the last song we wrote and that was one we started together."-
