Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Lauren Ann Releases New Song “BITE”
Belfast-based alt-rock singer-songwriter Lauren Ann released a new song “BITE” on May 3, 2024.
The song is the second single off of her upcoming concept EP “Devour”, which is expected to be released in 2024.
Each song is inspired by one of the deadly sins, with her previous single “NEED” symbolising greed and “BITE” focusing on wrath.
It was written by Lauren Ann Higgins and produced by Rocky O'Reilly.
She has already filmed a music video for the song, directed by Jane Donnelly, which is coming soon.
Lauren Ann said of the song, “In a way I've created a character or alter ego who experiences all of the sins in some way. Some of the songs are also about the different types of people I have met in my own life. I feel like everyone has encountered negative feelings of greed, wrath, pride etc. at some point in their life.”- She shared on social media, “'BITE' is the second single release from my upcoming EP 'Devour' It symbolises wrath and is for anyone struggling with feelings of animosity after being controlled. Massive thanks to Rocky O'Reilly for being the amazing producer he is and to my band for playing on this track - big love.”
