New York-based British singer-songwriter Skye Houston released the second single of 2024 called “Mommy Issues (A-Side)” on May 2, 204.
Th song follows up “Heart Over Head”, which was released back in February.
The track is an anthem of self-growth with a tell-all and unapologetic energy, and fearless lyricism.
It was written by Kerim Wilhelm, and Skye Houston who also produced the track.
Skye Houston said of the song, ”Mommy issues is about the boys in our generation who are too immature to date, leading to the assumption that they must have mommy issues. The boys in our generation seem to be growing up very slowly and this song tries to highlight that from a playful point of view. Girls in our generation are a lot more badass and won't settle for anything less than what they deserve, none of these immature boys with mommy issues will be able to date girls like us”- source : Apple Music
