British indie rock band Sea Girls, consisting of Henry Camamile (vocals/guitar), Rory Young (lead guitar), Andrew Dawson (bass) and Oli Khan (drums), premiered a new song “Come Back To Me” on BBC Radio 1's New Music Show with Sian Eleri.
The song is the fifth single off of their upcoming third studio album “Midnight Butterflies”, which is set to be released on June 14, 2024.
The track was written by Charlie Martin, Henry Camamile, and Joe Housley. Produced by The Nocturns.
The accompanying music video was directed by Oska Zaky.
“So I'd say, just get lost and it's full feeling. Get lost in the feelings,” the band lead singer Henry Camamile told Sian Eleri about song. “It is I mean the message of it is quite tender, isn't it. And it's just, basically realizing I'm still in love with someone, actually, let's give it a go again. It is autobiographical. I mean most of my music, our music is the stories. So I do mean it.”
The band will perform the song on BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend at Stockwood Park, Luton on May 28, 2024.- The new album comprises a 12-track, and is the first release as an independent artist, via their own label Alt. Records.
Henry Camamile said of the album, “It feels and sounds like a fledgling band making their energetic untainted debut record. It's super optimistic and euphoric. There was a huge freedom in making this record. It's an exciting time for music across genres, and who wouldn't want to be a part of that?” - source : BBC Radio 1
