British singer-songwriter Tom Odell unveiled a new song “money” on May 7, 2021.
The song is the third single off of his upcoming fourth studio album “monsters”, following “numb” and “monsters”.
Tom Odell said of the song, “money… no matter where we come from, how much we have, we are all constantly made to feel like we don't have enough, and that somehow if we had more, we would be happier… if you're poor, get rich…. if you're rich, get richer. The rewards for those who happen to be good at making it are endless. And you know those most absurd thing about it?… by the time you get to the end of this paragraph, Jeff Bezos will have made another million dollars. It's a wild world.”
The new album “monsters” is set to be released on July 9, 2021. It is his first LP in three years.
He recently announced a short run of intimate solo live dates at The Jazz Cafe on June 20, 21, and 22.
In addition to these shows, he embarks on his UK 2022 the monsters tour. The tour kicks off at Belfast Ulster Hall on February 15, 2022 and will conclude at Birmingham O2 Academy on March 8, 2022.- source : Spotify
