Elohim Releases New Song “Breath”
Los Angeles-based producer Elohim released a new song “Breath” on April 7, 2023.
The song is the first single off of her upcoming sophomore album “Power of Panic”.
It was written and produced by Cory Enemy, AWAY and Elohim.
The accompanying music video was directed by Chase O’Black and animated by Frank Xavier.
Elohim said of song in a statement, “For so long I felt like I was running and running in an endless loop, completely unable to catch my breath. I needed to reclaim a part of me that I lost, I needed to be revitalized... It was time to take control and find the power within my panic. I am the only person who can ultimately heal me.”- The new album is the first LP since the 2018 self-titled debut and follows up the 2022 EP “Journey to the Center of Myself (Abridged)”.
The album draws how she has been running away from her mental health and anxiety.
Elohim told Forbes about the album, “I've had so many opportunities, so many amazing moments, and I try to peel back all of the layers and say, ‘What is? Why has this not gone this way or this not gone this way?’ Ultimately, the only thing is that I was in my own way and I had to get out of my way. My biggest hurdle in life has been myself, and this album is the story of that.” - source : Apple Music
