SVN Releases New Song “FREE”
London-based seven-piece girl group SVN, consisting of Jarnéia Richard-Noel, Millie O’Connell, Natalie Paris, Alexia McIntosh, Aimie Atkinson, Maiya Quansah-Breed and Grace Mouat, released a new song “FREE” along with a music video.
The song follows up “Woman”, which was released back in April.
It was written by Grace Mouat, Millie O'Connell, Natalie Paris, Alexia McIntosh, Aimie Atkinson, Maiya Quansah-Breed and Jarnéia Richard-Noel.
Produced by Ayden Morgan. The video was created by MBV Productions.
The group said of the song, “When writing ‘Free’ we knew we wanted to create a song and a space for communities to feel celebrated, held and seen. Telling you and ourselves to ‘be free’ ‘let go and you’ll see’. Especially to the queer community, knowing they can play ‘Free’ and hear all these affirmations inside this song, so they can be who you want to be.”
SVN was formed by the original cast of the award-winning global phenomenon SIX The Musical in 2020.
