Troye Sivan Announces New Album “Something To Give Each Other”, Shares New Song “Rush”
Australian singer-songwriter Troye Sivan has announced his third studio album “Something To Give Each Other” will be released on October 13, 2023.
It is his first album in five years since the 2018 album “Bloom”.
The album comprises 10-track. Troye Sivan shared on social amedia, “This album is my something to give you - a kiss on a dancefloor, a date turned into a weekend, a crush, a winter, a summer. Party after party, after party after after party. Heartbreak, freedom. Community, sisterhood, friendship. All that.”
From the album, he released the fist single called “Rush” on July 13, 2023.
The track was written by Troye Sivan Mellet, Brett McLaughlin, Alex Chapman, Adam Novodor, Kevin Hickey, and Kaelyn Behr. Produced by Zhone, Novodor, and Styalz Fuego.
The accompanying music video was directed by Gordon von Steiner.
“'Rush' is the feeling of kissing a sweaty stranger on a dancefloor, a 2 hour date that turned into a weekend, a crush, a winter, a summer,” Troye Sivan explained in a statement. “Party after party, after party after after party. All of my experiences from a chapter where I feel confident, free and liberated. Independent, yet somehow the most connected to the music and community around me.”
