British rapper Stormzy released a new song “Firebabe” from his upcoming third studio album “This Is What I Mean” on November 10, 2022.
The track was written by Debbie Ehirim, George Moore, Jacob Collier, Michael Ebenezer Kwadjo Omari Owuo Jr., Ras Kassa Alexander, and Simon Tendai Senyange.
Produced by George Moore, Daniel Buhlebuyeza Miles, Joel Peters, Jojo Mukeza, and tendai.
Also, the track features guest vocals from Sampha, Jacob Collier and Debbie.
The accompanying music video was directed by Edem Wornoo.
Stormzy said of the song, “Debbie, George [Moore] and I got in the studio together and it was the most beautiful moment. It was a session I’ll never forget, for the rest of my life. It was extremely special and everyone in the room understood that. We were making something that hopefully, God willing, lives forever. Something that has soul and feeling and it came from a really pure place. We took a truth and made some art from it.”
The new album comprises 12-track and is set to be released on November 25, 2022.
It is his first album in three years since the 2019 album “Heavy Is the Head”.
