Maroon 5 Shares New Music Video for “Memories”
Last month, American pop rock band Maroon 5 returned with a new song “Memories” for the first time in two years.
The song served as a tribute to their late manager Jordan Feldstein, who died unexpectedly in December 2017 from a pulmonary embolism.
The band shared the music video for the song on October 8th. The clip shot in one take.
“First and foremost the song is for everybody,' the band frontman Adam Levine explained. “I wanted to make sure I could personalize it and have it be about our manager, who passed away very recently. And this is all still really raw, so it's hard for me to kind of elaborate on. [He was] like a brother.”
“I needed this song,” he continued. 'In a world that's increasingly chaotic and crazy and angry in a lot of ways, I feel like rather than fight about things, it's nice to have common ground and all of us have had loss. [It's about loss] and celebrating them too, which I think is important.”
The band performed the song for the first time on TV, The Ellen Degeneres Show- SlPhMPnQ58k
