Rozzi Premieres New Song “Uphill Battle”
Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Rozzi Crane, aka Rozzi has delivered a new song "Uphill Battle". The song was premiered exclusively on LADYGUNN on January 12, 2018.
The song is taken from her forthcoming debut album, which is expected to be released later this year.
The track is emoted about romantic tribulations in her new piano ballad.
About the song, she told LADYGUNN in an interview ;
"This song started as a poem, like most of my songs do. I wrote it at my local coffee shop during a particularly long week. I was going through a rough patch with my then-boyfriend and there was something about that relationship that allowed me to see myself through his eyes – particularly the ways in which I might make things difficult. This is a song I had been trying to write for a long time – it was basically me trying to articulate that these are my emotions, my passions, my flaws – and I know it’s a lot but it’s who I am."-
- Rozzi Crane was a background vocalist for Don Henley and Sergio Mendes. She joiend in Maroon 5's song "Come Away to the Water" in 2012 and signed to Adam Levine's 222 Records as the first artist for the label.
She has released two EPs "Space" and "Time" in 2015 and opened for Maroon 5's subsequent North American tour.
She signed to Small Giant/Columbia Records in 2017. - source : LADYGUNN
