Eric Dash Releases New Song “Killin' Your Lies”
- Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Eric Dash released a new song “Killin' Your Lies” on November 13th.
The track will appear on his upcoming debut album and follows up “I Just Need to Get Away” released back in August.
The track was written about the music industry and social media. And he plans to release a new song every two months.
Eric Dash shares about the song on social media, “It's about the music industry and social media... I've been pulled musically in so many directions because of this changing climate. But I've recently decided to just be myself. There are a couple more Unspecified songs coming and then an album of singer-songwriter. It will be an album full of heart ❤️ because behind everything, I'm a big mush ball :)”
He has already filmed a music video for the song, which will be premiered soon. Directed by Micah Stuart. “Thank you to Micah Stuart for killing it with me on this video. I can't wait for you to see it. He really helps me capture a vision that's unique to me. Thank you!!!!”
- Eric Dash said, “I remember being in Joshua Tree listening to Colter Wall and I was beyond inspired. I thought, damn, I want to sing lower and have some country swag for once. I tabled the thought and wrote 'Killin' Your Lies' as a pitch to Reynolds Management (Imagine Dragons/ Sir Sly), but did so with that Colter Wall experience in the back of my head. I actually wrote a bunch of songs and produced them quickly to show then that I was worthy of being on their roster. I didn't make the cut, but I'm so happy I did that because I'll be releasing all of the songs myself. You never know how or when or why a song comes, I'm just happy it came.”
