Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Glas Releases New Song “Hungry Moon”
Last month, Copenhagen-based alt-pop duo Glas, consisting of Lisbet Fritze and Louise Foo, announced that their debut album “Kisses Like Feathers” would be released on March 15, 2024 via Hamburg's hfn music.
From the album, the duo released the third single called “Hungry Moon” on February 16, 2024.
The track was written and produced by Lisbet Fritze, Louise Foo, with production by temøller.
“The song raises the impossible questions about the well-being of our planet, addressing big-scale frustrations while simultaneously delving into human feelings of big dreams, loss and insufficiency,” the duo said of the song. “Musically, we also wanted to create a duality with two distinct vocal parts. Almost like a duet between night and day. In one, dreamy vocals are interwoven into a fabric of layered guitars, creating a chant. In contrast, the other features a groovy, spacious arrangement with dry vocals.”- The debut album comprises a 10-track, produced by Glas.
Embracing major life transitions like motherhood, Glas's music balances dramatic flair with cool poise. The album weaves a tapestry of acoustic and electronic sounds. -
