American singer-songwriter Ashley Kutcher will release her debut album “House On The Water” on January 26, 2024.
She has released four preceding singles “Boy from Carolina”, “Matchbox”, “Favorite Color”, and “Trustfall”, so far.
From the album, she released the fifth single called “Girl In The Mirror” along with a music video in January 12, 2024.
The track was written by Ashley Dawn Kutcher, Cate Downey, and Cooper Holzman. Produced by Cooper Holzman.
Ashley Kutcher said of the song, “I wrote this song on a writing trip to LA where I felt completely overwhelmed by writing this album. I’m a perfectionist at heart which practically feels like I’m never good enough. I was putting too much pressure on myself to be perfect when in reality art and creativity is beautiful because it ISNT perfect. So I sat down with my friend cate and just let it all. Sometimes I want to escape my own mind but I physically can’t. This song is about anxiety, vices, and internal battle.”
The debut album comprises a 10-track, produced by Alex Bilowitz, Asher Postman, Holz, remy and Steven Martinez.- source : Apple Music
