Marika Hackman Returns With New Song “No Caffeine”
London-based singer-songwriter Marika Hackman returned with a new song “No Caffeine” on September 6, 2023.
The song is her first release in three years since the 2020 cover album “Covers”.
But as her first own music, it is in four years since the 2019 album “Any Human Friend”.
Also, the song is the first single under her new label Chrysalis Records.
The track was written and produced by Marika Hackman, with production by Sam Petts-Davies and Charlie Andrew.
The accompanying music video was co-directed by Marika Hackman and Natàlia Pagès Geli.
Marika Hackman said of the song, “'No Caffeine' is a list of what to do to avoid having a panic attack and looking at my anxiety as an abusive partner.”
