Zoe Wees Releases New Song “Daddy's Eyes”
- German singer-songwriter Zoe Wees unveiled a new song “Daddy's Eyes” on September 23, 2022.
The song is her third single of 2022 except the collaborative song “Do It Better” with German DJ Felix Jaehn, following “Third Wheel” and Lonely”.
The track was written by Zoe Wees, Patrick Pyke Salmy, Ricardo Muñoz, Hight, and Nicolas Rebscher. Produced by Patrick Pyke Salmy, Ricardo Muñoz, icolas Rebscher and Leon Milla.
The accompanying music video was directed by Dennis Dirksen.
She presents her most personal song to date. Having grown up without a father, the 20-year-old sings about the challenging moments of her childhood and youth, which she spent with her mother.
Zoe Wees said, “My dad was never there for my mom and me. I met him once in my life and realized that my eyes look just like his. I don't wanna cry these tears with my Daddy's Eyes. I don't need you , daddy!”
- She shared on social media, “It took a lot for me to finally share this story with you all. This song is for anyone who grew up without a father figure in their life.”
Zoe Wees embarks on the 2022 EU & UK Tour. The tour kicks off at Lollapalooza in Berlin on September 24, 2022 and will wrap up at Fabrik in Hamburg on November 30, 2022.
