  • BOKKA Announces New Album “Blood Moon”, Shares New Song “Walk On A Wire”

  • Polish alt-pop band BOKKA announced their fourth studio album “Blood Moon” would be released on February 25, 2022 via PIAS Recordings.

It is their first album in four years since the 2018 album “Life on Planet B”.
The album comprises 10-track, produced by Bogdan Kondracki. Jakub Guzik is responsible for the visual concept.
From the album, the band released a new song “Walk On A Wire” along with a music video.
It was written by BOKKA and produced by Bogdan Kondracki. The video was directed by Maciej Aleksander Bierut, starring Piotr Głowacki and Alicja Wieniawa-Narkiewicz.
BOKKA said of the video, “Maciek and Karol form the perfect duo. One is the brain, the other is the eyes. Passion, talent, imagination, madness, diligence, faith, and all at maximum speed. Maciek is crazy - I do not know if we have ever met a man who would be so into his passion. Day and night. This, however, brings amazing results. His script made Piotr Głowacki himself board our space ship, and together with the young Alicja Wieniawa they created a beautiful, deeply moving story that cannot be ignored.”
  • Director Maciej Aleksander Bierut said, “What would I do if I just found out that I have the last hours of my life left? I probably ask myself this question more than I should, but it was the catalyst for this personal end-of-the-world story. I joke that this is a screen adaptation of the proverb 'What the eyes cannot see, the heart does not regret.' I wanted to relate to a subjective perception of reality or a justified lie. I was also interested in the metaphor of pure parenthood. The need to take the burden of the world upon ourselves to protect our own children.”
