  • Taylor Swift Premieres New Short Film “All Too Well: The Short Film”

  • American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift premiered a new short film “All Too Well: The Short Film” on November 12, 2021.
The film was directed by Taylor Swift herself, starring Sadie Sink and Dylan O'Brien.
The short film is based on her 2012 song “All Too Well”, which is included on her fourth studio album “Red”.
This time, she re-recorded “All Too Well” as 10 minute version in the re-release of “Red (Taylor's Version)”.
Before the release of the album, she appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to explain of the film.
“I feel like we gotta explain what's going on. Like everybody's so busy and I feel like I should just tell you like I wrote and directed a short film based on the premise of the song 'All Too Well,'” Taylor Swift told Jimmy Fallon. “So I cast Sadie Sink and Dylan O'Brien, who are incredible actors, in this short film and they could not have blown me away more. It was the most unbelievable experience working with people who are that prepared [and] committed. Just the chemistry between them is on another planet.”

“So there's this scene where there is one very tense scene between the two of them,” she continued. “They were so electric and improving a lot of what they were doing that we just couldn't take the camera off them, we couldn't cut, we couldn't edit. So it was a very long one take one camera shot that lasts for a very long time, and when you're watching it you don't realize that because they are so magnetic.”
The new album “Red (Taylor's Version)” was released on November 12th and she will appear to perform “All Too Well” on Saturday Night Live on November 13th.
