Patrick Droney Releases Debut Album “State of the Heart” The Deluxe Edition: Streaming
- American singer-songwriter Patrick Drone released his debut album “State of the Heart” the deluxe edition on September 17, 2021 via Warner Records.
The standard edition of the album was released back in May.
The deluxe edition comprises of 20-track, consisting of previous 15-track and 5 new songs including his reimagined take on the ZZ Top classic “Rough Boy” featuring Billy Gibbons.
Produced by Aaron Bay-Schuck, AFTERHRS, Ben West, Derek Wells, Jon Stark, Julian Bunetta, Patrick Droney and Zach Skelton.
“State of the Heart means even more to me now than when I released it in May,” Patrick Droney said. “To be able to experience the connection between the fans and this music the last few months, makes it that much more meaningful to share this Deluxe Edition. The five songs completing the album are as fundamental to the definition of State of the Heart as any others. I grew up listening to ZZ Top's 'Rough Boy' with my Dad and now I am able to share my version with Billy Gibbons. I wrote a letter to myself almost ten years ago, which now lives inside of 'Forgive Yourself.' I wrote 'Good Die Young' with my younger brother, and both 'Hummingbird' and 'Like The Water' represent metaphors that run deep throughout this record. I could say its been quite a ride to the end of this album, but I think it's more fitting to say it's been quite the journey to the beginning.”
